THE LIVING WORDS OF CHRIST, THE PSALMS OF MY LIFE

GOD'S LIVING WORD FOR TODAY

Ephesians 6:10-17 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his
mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand
against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood,
but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark
world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full
armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and
after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of
truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can
extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of
the Spirit, which is the word of God.

MY LONGING IN THE NIGHT

The whole life of the good Christian is a holy longing. What you desire ardently, as yet you do not see…by withholding of the vision, God extends the longing, through longing he extends the soul, by extending he makes room in it. Let us long because we are to be filled…that is our life, to be exercised by longing. ”
~ St. Augustine

PSALMS OF JOY  CHAPTER 84

1.  LORD__YES, THERE IS ALWAYS LONGING FOR YOU IN MY SOUL__I AM EASILY FILLED TO OVERFLOWING OF YOU.
2.  YOU WELL UP IN ME__MY CUP RUNS OVER.
HOW IS IT THAT I CONTINUE TO LONG WHEN I AM FULL?
                                     *******************

"IT IS THE LONGING THAT GIVES RISE TO THE EVERLASTING SPRINGS OF LIFE__AND THESE SPRINGS ARE THE PRAISES OF SUCH LONGING.
FROM GLORY TO GLORY, SUCH LONGING SHALL BRING YOU INTO EVEN MORE LONGING.
IT WAS SUCH THAT CALLED ME APART INTO MY FATHER'S PRESENCE__IT WAS THE ALPHA THAT SPRANG INTO THE OMEGA.
COME AND DRINK OF THE WATERS OF LIFE THAT SPRING FORTH IN LONGING UNTO PRAISE
PARTAKE OF THE FULLNESS OF EVER INCREASING LONGING."
