GOD'S LIVING WORD FOR TODAY

Ephesians 6:10-17 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his
mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand
against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood,
but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark
world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full
armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and
after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of
truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can
extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of
the Spirit, which is the word of God.

PSALMS OF JOY CHAPTER 100

1.  LORD I REJOICE THAT YOU ARE MY GOD
THERE IS NO ONE WHO KNOWS MY HEART
LIKE YOU
MY FLESH RISES UP IN IT'S CORRUPTION TO
CHALLENGE WHO I AM,  BUT I KNOW NOT
THE VOICE WHO TEMPTS ME TO DISOBEY
WHAT MY SPIRIT KNOWS TO BE THE WAY
THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE

2.  I DECLARE THAT I AM NOTHING IN MY
FLESH,  I AM NOTHING
IT WILL PERISH,  IT IS POWERLESS TO SAVE
    
3.  YOU ALONE GIVE ME THE QUIETNESS
AND CONFIDENCE THAT STRENGTHENS ME
WITH FAITH

4.  WHEN MY HEART IS FILLED WITH FEAR
AND DOUBT,  YOUR COUNCIL AND WISDOM
IS AS THE MORNING DAWN TO ME,  I AM
FILLED WITH HOPE AND COMFORT

5.  YOU HAVE PROMISED TO GIVE ME JOY
AND PEACE, AND A SOUND MIND,  I KNOW
THAT ONLY YOU KEEP YOUR WORD,  I WILL
NOT BE MOVED,  FOR YOU ARE THE SOLID
ROCK UPON WHICH I STAND.
