THE LIVING WORDS OF CHRIST, THE PSALMS OF MY LIFE

GOD'S LIVING WORD FOR TODAY

Ephesians 6:10-17 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his
mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand
against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood,
but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark
world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full
armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and
after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of
truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can
extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of
the Spirit, which is the word of God.

PSALMS OF JOY CHAPTER 96

1.  Today,  my heart grieved for you Father.  I felt something that
I've never felt before.  I saw...no...I felt myself running to you
needing that reasurance that I'm not lost in all this madness
that surrounds me.

2.  Evil abounds,  every truth has become shadows of gray, a fog
that blinds or disfigures reality.  All around are the heaps of
human flesh who have followed the blind into a world of con-
fusion, a world on the brink.

3.  I felt the warm dish water that brought me back to the safe and
quiet kitchen, a reality that is blessedly mine.  "Dad!, Father!
Blessed Trinity!  Embrace me in your oneness,  your love, your
care."

4.  My only true haven of peace, hope, and rest is in You.  Yes,
Yes,  Christ in me....even as I dwell in You.  You are my hiding
place...that secret place where who-so-ever wills may come to dwell.

5.  There is no other Way.  Flesh and blood, cannot enter in.  What great mystery is ours,  what work of faith fills my heart.  In this I will give you praise and honor and thanksgiving.

6.  Yours is the glory, the power, the kingdom above all kingdoms.  My eternal resting place,  my Home.

7.  I love You my Beloved Father.  Be comforted with all who adore you...who come boldly before you in all adoration.  Your will and purpose is ours.  Not one drop of blood that was shed on Calvary will have been shed in vain.

8.  We know not what we do.  So we surrender our hearts, our wills and all that we are,  a living sacrifice,  humbly, and joyfully we cry
"ABBA FATHER...Thy Kingdom Come."
